Segregated Funds

Segregated Funds

We use Segregated Funds sold through insurance companies. These funds offer competitive fee’s and carry many guarantees and protection such as:

  • principle guaranteed at death,

  • maturity guarantee’s for 75 or 100% of your deposits

  • protect you against bankruptcy loss, creditors or even lawsuits,

  • they bypass probate and estate fees, saving $$$$

  • have named beneficiaries to ensure your funds go where you want,

  • don’t get caught up in messy probate or complicated estate battles which can take

  • months or years to settle.

The Segregated Investment funds are the same as other types of investments commonly sold by banks or other investment firms but with the above benefits. Protecting your investments is as important as protecting your income and family.

The guarantees and protection given by segregated funds provide an edge over other traditional types of investments, as your advisor (s), we will show you how each product can be used to maximize your returns and limit exposure to market risks and provide for your future and dreams, call us today to book a free consultation.

Guaranteed Investment Certificate - GIC's

GIC

A GIC works like a savings account in that you deposit money into it and earn interest on that money. The difference is that you need to leave your money in a GIC account for a specified period. If you take it out early, you may have to pay a penalty – depending on the type of GIC you own. Generally earning lower interest rates but no market risks, let us help you decide if this fits into your portfolio.

When you buy a GIC, you are agreeing to lend the bank or financial institution your money for a specified number of months or up to 5 years. In exchange, your money will earn interest. The longer the term, the more interest you earn. At the end of the term, you get the entire amount you deposited plus the interest. We can help you determine which GIC’s are best suited for you.
